Consumer's Preference for Organic Clothing and Food Continues to Grow

Consumer's attitudes have changed a lot over the past 15 years. In safe bet countries throughout the world, many consumers have taken the transition of chemical-filled synthetic clothing and food containing pesticides to natural fibre garments and 100% organic produce.

Organic clothing and food haven't all the time been important in the store place. Consumers rarely carefully what went into their buyer products and the view of them being bad for the body and the environment was non-existent.

Over the past 10 years or so, there has been much media hype and speculation about the adverse state of the environment and factors important to its supposed slow demise. As with many things, it often takes a few habitancy to grab the bull by the horns to encourage hoards of others to make a change in their lives. And change they easily have.

Synthetic clothing saturated the international store place in the late 80s to early 90s, courtesy of cheap labour and mass output in China. It turns out that a large ration of habitancy have discovered just how potentially harming nylon and polyester clothing can be for adults and particularly children.

Organic cotton baby clothes have easily taken off, because of their beautiful softness and non-itchiness. Baby skin is much thinner than adults and is therefore more susceptible to skin irritations and allergic reactions, such as eczema and asthma. Synthetics include chemicals and toxins that can easily be absorbed into a baby's bloodstream, so it's no surprise just how bad these must be for their condition in general.

As of 2007, just over 250,000 bales of organic cotton were produced in 24 countries around the world. Amazingly, it has a increase rate of 50% per year. This quite clearly defines the clothing preferences of habitancy today.
